The section dedicated to the forms of expanded cinema and the Sinais film performance is moving out this year to the nights in the courtyard of the Luis Seoane Foundation. We are presenting the proposal from the saruxeci collective composed of Saru Miras and Ceci Romero via a joint performance by them as well as a film by Romero and another performance work by Miras, all of which the artists define as “three exercises on impossibility.” With a special focus on artistic processes intertwined with everyday life and shared space, their work materialises among performative action, frame-by-frame cinema and the conceptual possibilities of filming and projection in analogue formats.
