Los Caballos de Düsseldorf (El Burro Ácrata and La Mulasaña, also known as Olaf Ladousse and Carmen Espina Flórez) have been making eccentric and noise music for decades based on what they themselves dubbed doorags, which are toys and all kinds of devices gathered from the flea market and rubbish, whose circuits are modified and then amplified to extract all of their sound potential. This time they bring us Fifty Fifty, a Super 8 film in which they shoot half the frame amid nature and then rewind the cartridge (in that same spirit of disassembling, modifying and playing as with the doorags) and shoot elements of the city in the other half. They will come galloping from Madrid to provide live sound for their film.
